In case you missed Monday Night Football, the Ravens murdered (this time figuratively, not literally) the Rams with a dominant 45-6 victory. Noted tough guy Jalen Ramsey exchanged words with Marcus Peters
To the point where he had to be physically restrained all the way to the locker room.
However, what is not being discussed is that Ramsey was DANGEROUSLY close to reinjuring whatever mysterious back problem he had that sidelined him in Jacksonville. All Jaguars fans remember the devastating back injury that kept him out for multiple games this season, only to be miraculously healed as soon as he was traded to the Rams.
Jalen Ramsey is one of the top athletes on the planet, so one can imagine the death grip around his back required to keep him restrained. Clearly he was making a legitimate attempt to go after Peters and was not pulling a fake "hold me back" stunt that I frequently witnessed on the elementary school playgrounds growing up.
Now most adults can handle walking to the locker room without someone holding onto them like they are recreating the scene from Titanic where Jack screams âIâm the king of the world!â While Jalen is *technically* an adult in the legal sense, in this moment he became an oversized baby. Like most babies, he needs to be carried places when he gets upset.
Speaking of babies:
Remember when he missed a game to go see the birth of his daughter in Nashville, but then posted pictures of him partying in Houston with division rival QB Deshaun Watson?
Now haters will say this is just another example of Jalen acting like a big baby, but Iâll argue that itâs totally normal for a defensive superstar to hang out with a rival QB during the season. Just like all those times Darrelle Revis and Tom Brady partied, or Ray Lewis and Ben Roethlisberger hung out, or Myles Garrett and Mason Rudolph were just guys being dudes
Actually, I could be wrong about the back. He might have injured it on this huge hit he delivered to Mark Ingram.
From a Jags fan to all Rams fans: Enjoy!
